Dual Mushroom Cedar Panel Wall Art

Made from a reclaimed cedar fence board, this decorative wall panel features two icons from the Mario series of video games: the poison mushroom (angry face) and the power-up mushroom (neutral face). The mushroom designs are done in all horizontal lines, similar to a "scanline" effect. Close up, you can see the design of the lines, but further away, the lines fade away to reveal the mushrooms!

The cedar has been surfaced and smoothed on both sides, allowing the grain and rustic wood features to shine through. A beveled edge has been added to the panel for aesthetics, and two cedar support strips have been added to the back of the panel to keep it parallel to the wall. The entire panel has been finished with a clear wood finish to preserve the beauty of the wood.

The panel comes ready-to-hang with a sawtooth hanger installed. Cedar is a very lightweight wood, so any standard picture hanger should be able to handle this panel.
